This is just a brief introduction of our characters for anyone who misses the first part of our show and would like to catch up!
Drexar Forestcleaver
Drexar's Father was a woodcutter and his Mother was an alchemist/herbalist. Both taught him their skills. When they were younger, both Drexar and his sister both showed signs of having magic abilities in a world where it is not accepted, so his parents helped them both to hide it. However, his parents died when he was 14, leaving him to care for himself and his younger sister. She was caught using magic 3 years later and was taken away. Drexar has no idea if she still lives. His personal inciting incident occurs 1 year later when he sees another young woman in his village get taken away for using magic, which reminds him of the day that his sister was taken. Now he is off adventuring, trying to find signs of an Elder Ritualist to help him train so that he can help others like him.
Drexar wears simple leathers and furs as clothes. He does not have much money or things beyond his clothes, his pack with herbs and food, and his father's old axe. He has tousled, brown hair and a clean, young face with a look of kindness and innocence but also a sense of worry and dread at the same time.
Drexar's assets
Alchemist- Drexar has kept his mom's teachings close to him and knows how to identify different plants that can be eaten as well as used in potions.
Leech- Drexar does not use this ability willingly, and it causes him great anguish when he does. Leech causes Drexar to believe magic is evil, where Sway shows him that magic can be good.
Sway- While Leech causes Drexar to think magic is evil like many others in the Ironlands, Sway helps him see the good that can come from magic. However, he has been hesitant to do this ritual for fear of being caught using magic, and so has not done so very often.
